This is a two-story building that covers an area of 600m2. The main objective for the construction of this building is to provide spaces for teaching woodworking and carpentry skills to mentally disabled students. The youth who have the inclination and talent for receiving professional training and rehabilitation on woodworking use this facility. The equipment and interior furnishings of this building are as complete as those of a small carpentry factory. The aim is also to provide a protective work place and environment for those individuals who demonstrate further progress in this area. The wood products and crafts that are produced in this workshop are introduced to the public and marketed at festivities and bazaars organized by the Headquarters.

The young students who participate in these activities receive further training in the painting workshop located on the lower floor of this building. In a section of the lower floor, our Volunteer Member, Alan McGill, produces sail and ‘optimist’ boats to market for the benefit of our Foundation. Our boats can be seen sailing on Lake Mogan.

The construction costs for this building has been met through the social and public activities organized by the Foundation Headquarters and donations from volunteers and philanthropist members of the society. For the provision of the mechanical equipment, we owe heartfelt thanks to the Embassy of the German Federal Republic. In addition, future orders for overshoes are received here. The events planning office of the Executive Board is also located in this building.

The two large lounge areas with kitchen that are located on the lower level of the building are reserved for painting, music, play, and recreation activities. In these two units, activities that are necessary for daily life, such as simple cooking, hand washing of small laundry, ironing, etc., are taught to the mentally disabled youth, to help them gain these basic skills.
